Human BioAcoustics™

BioAcoustics is a science that studies the combination of biology and sound. While animal studies in modern bioacoustics have been conducted for well over a century, studies of sound and it's influence biology can be traced back to ancient times.

The field of Human BioAcoustics™ is a recent specialization that focuses on the sound-based frequencies emitted by humans, either voluntarily through the voice, or automatically through such mechanisms as Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE's). Human BioAcoustics™ also studies how human health can be rebalanced by receiving either supporting or antidotal sound frequencies.

Sharry Edwards is recognized as the orginator of Human BioAcoustics™. Edwards, through her research, has discovered that the frequencies in the body work in a mathematical matrix, with specific relationships between biochemical, muscle, nutrient, hormone, and nerve sound frequencies. The Lorenger Research Institute is a certified Sound Health BioAcoustic Research Associate, and is pleased to use the methodologies and software established by Sharry Edwards.

You can hear Sharry Edwards speaking about BioAcoustic Vocal Profiling in this short video (4.5 min):

Note: Research Projects for BioAcoustic Analysis are now being scheduled for November 2008. If you are interested in participating, read more here.
