Welcome!

The Lorenger Research Institute specializes in Human BioAcoustic software research, analysis and education. We also provide software analysis services for staff augmentation, training and educational seminars.

With over 20 years of software experience, The Lorenger Research Institute provides assistance in many areas related to emerging information technologies.

BioAcoustic Reading List

Health on the Edge: Visionary Views of Healing in the New Millenium by Larry Trivieri, Jr., includes a chapter that covers the development of and use of Human BioAcoustics by Sharry Edwards, M.Ed.

Also included in the book are discussions with Valerie V. Hunt, Ph.D, C. Norman Shealy, M.D., Ph.D.; Robert S. Ivker, D.O.; Jeremy Geffen, M.D.; Roger Jahnke, O.M.D.; Alberto Villoldo, Ph.D., and other revolutionary researchers and thinkers in emerging health technologies.

The Duke Encyclopedia of New Medicine: Conventional and Alternative Medicine for All Ages

Compiled by the world-renowned Duke Center for Integrative Medicine, the emerging study of Human BioAcoustics™ is referenced within this encyclopedia of complementary and alternative healing therapies.

Mission

The Lorenger Research Institute was founded to contribute to, extend and promote the research first started in the 1980's by Sharry Edwards, M.Ed, in Albany, Ohio. With the visionary understanding that the voice can be used as holographic representation of the energy states in the body, Edwards developed software and techniques to analyze the frequencies in the voice, and then correlate the Frequency Equivalents™ to physical, mental and emotional imbalances in the body.

The Lorenger Research Institute seeks to be a mutually beneficial community organization. Clients who participate in research projects receive health education and may gain insight into how they can resolve out-of-balance health conditions. At the same time, the data gathered from clients is helping to contribute to a larger body of knowledge in the ground-breaking field of Human BioAcoustics™.

Cameron Park Lab

Our office in Cameron Park, California is where we meet clients, collect research samples, perform analysis and can optionally provide re-balancing sessions, all based on the software and protocols developed by Sharry Edwards of Sound Health. Read more about our current research projects here.

Note: Research Projects for BioAcoustic Analysis are now being scheduled for September 2008. If you are interested in participating, read more here.
